For Balich Wonder Studios we designed the set up and provided construction supervision for the Hot Air Balloon, AlUla Skies event, part of the AlUla Moments festival in Saudi Arabia.

Our concept was based on the triangular shape (logo of the event) for both set up elements and general layout, the latter clearly visibile from above by guests experiencing the flights.

We used materials and processes in line with the context: cut metal sheets evoking traditional arabian decorations and handcrafted palm leaves fences.

For the several weeks long festival we built a guests village including a food court with trucks, a stage for musical performances and dj sets as well as different indoor and outdoor areas covering all the technical necessities of the balloons flight experience; amongst them a big tent for safety istructions before boarding and a smaller one, highly customized for business and marketing meetings.

We designed both indoor and outdoor furniture layouts but also took care of maps and layouts for building permits.
